<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently deodorize by making malodor components contained in malodor gases effectively and quickly absorbed to mist. <P>SOLUTION: A deodorizing apparatus comprises a deodorizing tank 1 fed with the malodor gases, an atomizer 2 atomizing water containing a surfactant as mist to be fed to the deodorizing tank 1, and a recovering device 3 separating the mist from the exhaust gases exhausted from the deodorizing tank 1.
