<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve lateral weight balance of a roll and to reduce infiltration of muddy water into a gear transmission mechanism housing chamber.SOLUTION: A walk-behind roller includes inside a roll 2, a rotary shaft 13 arranged coaxially with the roll 2 and integrally rotating with the roll 2, a roll driving gear 35 mounted in the rotary shaft 13, a traveling hydraulic motor M for driving the roll driving gear 35, a frame connection part 25 mounted in a side frame 4 and a gear housing part 24 for housing the periphery of the roll driving gear 35. The walk-behind roller further includes inside the roll 2, a bracket 16 in which a through-hole 26A for inserting the rotary shaft 13 is formed in a sidewall 26 formed near the roll inside of the gear housing part 24 and a bearing 19 mounted in the bracket 16 and supporting the rotary shaft 13. The roll driving gear 35 is mounted to the rotary shaft 13 by a fitting pin 36 fitted over respective fitting holes bored in this roll driving gear 35 and an end surface of the rotary shaft 13.</p> |
