<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foam increasing agent excellent in foaming rate by being used together with a foaming surfactant; and to provide a detergent composition including them. <P>SOLUTION: There are provided the foam increasing agent including a tertiary amine compound having a structure of general formula (1); and the detergent composition including the foam increasing agent and the foaming surfactant.
