摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust gas-purifying catalyst which can reduce the consumption of palladium and effectively develop gas-purifying performance. <P>SOLUTION: The exhaust gas-purifying catalyst is made to include a catalyst composition in which palladium is supported on catalyst carrier made of a nonstoichiometric spinel type complex oxide represented by general formula (1) below. Since the exhaust gas-purifying catalyst contains the catalyst carrier made of a nonstoichiometric spinel type complex oxide expressed by general formula (1) below and the catalyst composition having palladium carried on the catalyst carrier, the consumption of palladium can be reduced, and the gas-purifying performance can efficiently be developed.
