PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a defect of an image due to the adhesion of ink mist to a recording head.SOLUTION: A conveying device is disposed to face a recording head 340. The conveying device comprises a conveyor belt 320 and a suction part 330. The conveyor belt 320 conveys a recording medium. The suction part 330 comprises an air circulation chamber 331 in which negative pressure is generated. The suction part 330 sucks the recording medium by the negative pressure through a plurality of holes formed on an upper wall 332 of the air circulation chamber 331 and the conveyor belt 320, and adsorbs the recording medium to the conveyor belt 320. A distance L1 between a bottom surface 338 and the upper wall 332 in a first region A1 above the bottom surface 338 of the air circulation chamber 331 is longer than a distance L2 between the bottom surface 338 and the upper wall 332 in a second region A2 other than the first region A1 above the bottom surface 338. At least a portion of a head facing region above the bottom surface 338, which faces the recording head 340, belongs to the first region A1.
