PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric discharge machining oil composition having sufficiently high working speed in electric discharge machining.SOLUTION: An electric discharge machining oil composition is formed by blending an organic acid metal salt into a base oil, in which the organic acid metal salt is an organic acid salt of a metal having a Pauling's electronegativity of 2 or lower. Further, in the composition, a volume resistivity at 80°C is 2×10T&OHgr;-m or higher, and a kinetic viscosity at 40°C is 0.5 mm/s or higher and 10 mm/s or lower.
