PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a draft chamber capable of reducing the width of a support post without obstructing a rectifying effect.SOLUTION: A draft chamber comprises: an operation room 3 of a rectangular box shape opened forward; and support posts 7 disposed at the two transverse ends of the front end part of the operation room 3. The operation room 3 is formed therein with a discharge port 161 to be fed with a fluid. The support posts 7 have a second piece 183 inclined backward as they go to the transverse inner side, and are formed in the second piece 183 with recesses 195 recessed backward. To these recesses 195, there is attached a valve 167 for opening and closing the discharge port 161. |
