<p>PURPOSE:To commonly use a shaft integrally incorporated with a cam lever for disengaging a latch from a ratchet for preventing reverse rotation of the latch, by journalling and fixing a motor driven sector gear for turning a cam lever and a key lever, to the shaft. CONSTITUTION:During closing, a striker 3 is engaged in a recess in a latch 5 which is therefore rotated, and accordingly, a pawl 10 on a ratchet 6 is engaged with a stepped part 11 so as to prevent reverse rotation of the a latch 5. Next, when the sector gear 25 is rotated in the direction (a) by the motor 19, a cylindrical protrusion 24 on the end part of a cam lever 22 is turned in the direction (a) along an arcuate groove 26. Next, an abutting part 28 of the lever 22 moves the upper end of the ratchet 6 in the direction (b) so as to disengage the pawl 10 from the stepped part 11, and accordingly, the latch 5 becomes free so that the door is openable. Further, when a rod 34 is moved upward through key manipulation, the key lever 25 turns the lever 22 through the intermediary of a shaft 15 in the direction (a) so that the door is openable. Further, the lever 35 is turned in the direction (a) through a cable 36 from a driver's seat so that the door is openable. Thereby, the shaft can be commonly used so as to miniaturize the device.</p> |
