PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high contrast organic film and a production method thereof, an optical film, an organic semiconductor, a polarizing plate and a liquid crystal display device.SOLUTION: This invention relates to an organic film comprising a disk-shaped compound, wherein the disk-shaped compound is immobilized in the state of forming a column-shaped assembly and is also uniaxially oriented, and a half-value width of orientation axis distribution in a micro-region of the organic film is 1° or less. |
