PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for providing a dense refractory material in refractory materials having small content of a carbon raw material for addressing problem that a dense structure cannot be provided when reducing carbon content for obtaining a carbon-containing refractory material excellent in corrosion resistance, oxidation resistance and abrasion resistance.SOLUTION: There is provided a composite carbide-containing refractory material containing 20 mass% or more of composite carbide consisting of at least aluminum, silicon and carbon, the content of a carbon raw material being 10 mass% or less. |
