PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gimmick clock with a timepiece dial rotation mechanism in which stable engagement relationship can be obtained, and dimensional control of a gear that the timepiece dial is attached to can be simplified.SOLUTION: A gimmick clock is provided in which a timepiece dial 2 rotates. A motor unit is included to rotate and drive the timepiece dial 2. The timepiece dial 2 is constructed by a ring-shaped plate having notches in a center part. A ring gear 2b is arranged in a back side of the timepiece dial 2. The motor unit includes a wheel row. The ring gear 2b is engaged with a driving gear 4a of the wheel row. A pulley 5 supporting the ring gear 2b from the outer peripheral side and the other pulleys 7, 8, 12 supporting the ring gear 2b are arranged at portions where the ring gear 2b is engaged with the driving gear 4a of the wheel row 4 in a timepiece supporting plate 3. Energizing means is arranged to elastically energize all of the pulleys or a part of them in the cross direction of the clock. |
