The purpose of the present invention is to provide an electrochemical carbon dioxide sensor device having superior long-term stability and quick response characteristic even in a humid environment. A first protection layer is stacked on the lateral side of alkali metal ion conductor. A second protection layer is stacked on the upper side thereof. An oxygen ion conductor is stacked on the lower side thereof. Thereby, the penetration of moisture is prevented. The electrochemical carbon dioxide sensor device is configured to use platinum (Pt) for a reference electrode instead of an existing unstable alkali metal electrode, and fix the reference voltage of an oxygen ion conductor and the reference electrode by reference gas of which oxygen partial pressure is fixed. Thereby, rapid response characteristics and long-term stability can be greatly improved compared to an existing electrochemical carbon dioxide sensor device.
