A health monitoring system and data collection method thereof; the health monitoring system comprises an intelligent monitoring system (1) and a micro monitoring system (2); the micro monitoring system (2) is used to determine whether the intelligent monitoring system (1) is completely started up; if yes, then the micro monitoring system (2) transmits to the intelligent monitoring system (1) the human body data information collected by a collection device (3); and if not, then the micro monitoring system (2) processes the human body data information collected by the collection device (3), and transmits the processed human body data information to a display terminal (4). The health monitoring system effectively solves the problem that the intelligent monitoring system (1) cannot monitor the health indicators of a human body during startup, thus realizing the human body real-time monitoring function of the health monitoring system.
