PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase speed in both reading and printing of a document.SOLUTION: An image reading unit reads a document and outputs band data for one band. An image processing unit compresses the band data with first compression rate to create first compression band data, extends the first compression band data, and subjects image processing to the extended band data. Subsequently, the image processing unit compresses the band data subjected to the image processing with second compression rate to create second compression band data. When the number of the second compression band data reaches a print start value, an image formation control unit causes the image forming unit to start image formation on the basis of the second compression band data. |
