An arm support control system and engineering machine having same; the arm support control system comprises a controller and a remote control (3); the controller is installed on the engineering machine; the remote control (3) comprises at least one coordinate conversion switch; and the coordinate conversion switch in smart mode is used to convert the coordinate system of a vehicle body or the coordinate system of the remote control. An operator stands in the front, back, left, or right of the engineering machine, and the pull direction of a universal remote control handle (4) is basically consistent with the target movement direction of the tail end of the arm support, thus enabling the visual direction of the operator to be consistent with the movement direction of the arm support, improving the operation applicability and flexibility of the operator, reducing construction cost, and having good operation stability. |
