The present invention relates to a single shift rail shifting mechanism of a transmission for a vehicle, wherein the gear can be changed into a stage needed by a driver by operating multiple forks using a single shift rail. The present invention comprises: a single shift rail (110) enabled to rotate or move straight by the operation of gears; one or more shift forks (120) arranged on top of the shift rail (110) and selectively moving during operation for gears; a guide plate (130) arranged on one side surface of the shift rail (110) and maintaining a fixed state; a shifting plate (140) arranged on the other side surface of the shift rail (110) moving together during the linear movement of the shifting rail (110); and a fixture (150) combined on top of the shift rail (110) and moving together with the shifting plate (140) during the linear movement of the shift rail (110).
