PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make images giving different impressions.SOLUTION: A karaoke device specifies an image effect provided to background image data 23, first timing to start the provision of the image effect and second timing to end the provision of the image effect. During a target period from the specified first timing to the specified second timing, the karaoke device includes an area corresponding to the screen size of a display part and generates color filter data 132 showing semi-transparent colors that are predetermined for the specified image effect. During periods other than the target period, the karaoke device includes an area corresponding to the screen size of the display part, generates the color filter data 132 showing transparent colors, synthesizes the background image data 23 and the generated color filter data 132, and outputs the synthesized data to the display part. During the target period, the karaoke device changes lightness, saturation or contrast of the background image data 23 to be synthesized to a value that is predetermined for the specified image effect. |
