PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a malfunction which may be generated when lowering a friction force imparted to a friction plate while lowering torque transmitted to an output shaft when torque not small than a regulated value is inputted.SOLUTION: A torque limiter comprises: a clutch mechanism 3 having a friction plate 31 which is interposed between an input shaft 1 and an output shaft 2, and transmits torque by friction, and a spring 33 which adds a spring force for pressing the friction plate; a ball lamp mechanism 4 which uses a ball 41 for sensing torque not smaller than a regulated value which is transmitted to the output shaft side from the input shaft side, and a ball lamp 42 for accommodating the ball as elements, acts in order to mechanically displace the spring when the torque not smaller than the regulated value is sensed, and lowers the friction force of the friction plate; and a damper mechanism 5 which lowers motion energy accompanied by relative rotational motion between the input shaft and the output shaft. |
