<p>A brake device for oil hydraulic motors comprises a rotary side friction plate (22) provided on a rotary portion (21) of an oil hydraulic motor (20), a stationary friction plate (23) provided on a stationary side of the oil hydraulic motor, a braking cylinder (24) having a piston (25), a piston pressure receiving chamber (27) and a spring (26), the spring biasing the piston in a braking direction, in which the stationary friction plate is brought into pressure contact with the rotary side friction plate, the stationary friction plate being moved by a pressure oil in the piston pressure receiving chamber in a braking release direction, in which the stationary friction plate is moved away from the rotary side friction plate, a circuit (28) for feeding to the piston pressure receiving chamber a pilot pressure oil of hydraulic pilot valves (52, 53) for delivering the pilot pressure oil, which switches between operating valves (41, 42) for supplying the oil hydraulic motor with a pressure oil, and a flow control valve (30), which is provided in the circuit and of which an opening area is gradually decreased in proportion to a distance of movement of the piston from a braking position to a braking release position.</p> |
