PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the performance of notification by an appropriate device.SOLUTION: An information processing device includes: a search section for searching a device suitable to notify of an event when the occurrence of the event is detected; a supply section for supplying notification contents to the device searched by the search section; a reception section for receiving a third condition including a first condition concerning the displaying of privacy information and a second condition concerning whether a user notices the notification, from a device that has detected the occurrence of the event; a transmission section for transmitting a score indicating a level to satisfy the third condition to the device when it is determined that the third condition is satisfied; and a notification section for giving notification to a user when the notification contents are received from the device. The present technique can be applied to a TV receiver and a portable terminal device.
