PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microwave processor capable of reliably generating a circular polarization with a short and small size waveguide even under influences of magnetron and/or reflection wave.SOLUTION: The microwave processor includes: a waveguide 3 which has a narrow wall surface of a generally L-like shape on a side plane of a heating chamber 1: and a circular polarization port 4a for generating a circular polarization. The circular polarization port 4a is arranged so that the center thereof is positioned out of a range, where a wall surface of a part of the waveguide 3 where microwave propagates toward a side wall surface of the heating chamber 1 is projected to the wall surface of the heating chamber 1 (out of projection range).
