PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing unit that achieves prevention of transformation (distortion) occurring to a guide member for guiding rotational transfer of an endless belt.SOLUTION: A fixing unit comprises: a rotatable heating roller 110; an endless belt 122 that contacts the heating roller 110 and rotationally transfers with the rotation of the heating roller 110; a pressing member 128 that has a long shape, is arranged in a manner to turn its longitudinal direction to a rotational axis direction of the heating roller 110 on the inside of the endless belt 122, and presses the endless belt 122 to the heating roller 110; a holding member 130 that has a long shape, is provided with the pressing member 128 in a manner to turn its longitudinal direction to the longitudinal direction of the pressing member 128, and holds a pressing load applied by the pressing member 128 to the heating roller 110; and a guide member 132 that is attached to the holding member 130, contacts an inner periphery of the endless belt 122, and guides the rotational transfer of the endless belt 122. |
