The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for collecting media data based on a network. To this end, a mobile terminal collects media data estimated to be related to a certain event by a search condition considering the occurrence time of the certain event, and classifies the collected media data as a record related to the certain event. The mobile terminal may collect media data related to the certain event based on an occurrence position, and an imaging or a recording position of media data except the occurrence time. |
