PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To alleviate time and effort of non-defective article recovery by restricting the feed of articles into a bag.SOLUTION: On the basis of fault signal output related to the position regarding a fault point of a film F transferred toward bag-making means 14, a drive motor 18 is speed-controlled to halt the supply of articles G into the film F after the elapse of a predetermined number of package cycles until the film F to be regarded as a fault package according to its fault point reaches a formation point, thereby making a variable speed travel of a supply conveyor 16. Further, after the elapse of a predetermined number of package cycles until the film F to be regarded as a fault package is transferred to a position for applying a lateral seal, the operation of applying the lateral seal is temporarily halted to control the machine so as to obtain a defective package that stores articles G for a package into a bag of a plurality of packaging lengths where defective points are positioned. |
