PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller of brushless motor capable of reducing the time required for failure detection on a brushless motor while reducing the size and the cost for the detection circuit in failure detection means of the brushless motor.SOLUTION: A controller 10 of a brushless motor 12 is constituted of: a voltage detection circuit 5 which is connected to a winding terminal A of an armature coil 6u which is one of three phases of the brushless motor 12 to detect a voltage Vu generated on the winding terminal A; and a failure detection means (control unit) 1 that detects a failure if the voltage Vu on the winding terminal A is smaller than a threshold value when the power is supplied to the armature coils 6v, 6w of the phases to which the voltage detection circuit 5 is not connected. |
