PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molding material capable of providing a molded article good in impregnation property and having excellent mechanical properties.SOLUTION: There is provided a molding material manufactured by impregnating (D) a resin composition containing (B) one or more kind of thermoplastic resin selected from a group consisting of polyester, polyamide, polycarbonate, polyether ether ketone, polyether ketone ketone, polyether imide, polysulfone, polyarylate, and polyphenylene ether and (C) cyclic polyarylene sulfide represented by the following general formula (1) into (A) a reinforced fiber, the molding material containing 1 to 80 pts.wt. of the component (A) based on the total 100 pts.wt. of the component (A) and (C) and a ratio between the component (B) and the component (C) ((B)/(C)) is 10/90 to 40/60 (weight ratio). In the general formula (1), Ar represents an arylene group and m represents any number in a range of 2 to 50. |
