PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an epoxy resin composition, which has excellent moldability, workability, and storage stability and, when cured, provides a cured material having excellent thermal stability and suitable for an electric and electronic material.SOLUTION: Provided are a nitrogen-containing epoxy resin represented by a formula (1), an epoxy resin composition comprising the resin, a cured material obtained by curing the epoxy resin composition, and an electric and electronic material having the cured material.
