<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently separating and recovering dicyclopentadiene in ethylene production equipment for separating and purifying a naphtha decomposition product produced by decomposition of naphtha, by distilling a C5 hydrocarbon fraction obtained by separating the naphtha decomposition product. <P>SOLUTION: In the process of supplying a C5 hydrocarbon fraction obtained by separating a naphtha decomposition product to a distillation column to recover dicyclopentadiene from a column bottom, the distillation column is controlled in such a manner that the column bottom effluent of the distillation column has a cyclopentadiene content of 0.5 wt.% or less and a content of hydrocarbons with 5 carbon atoms of 2.0 wt.% or less. Preferably, the column is controlled in such a manner that the column bottom temperature is 150 to 165 and that the retention time in the column of the supplied liquid to the distillation column is 15 minutes or less, preferably 10 minutes or more and 15 minutes or less. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
