A torque bar (410) manufactured by an additive manufacturing process is provided. The torque bar (410) may include a torque bar body made of more than one metallic material (450, 452). The torque bar (410) may also include a geometry that comprises one or more voids (442) and one or more webs, as well as a varied geometry in the direction of a longitudinal axis (460). Torque bars (410) of the present disclosure can exhibit improved characteristics, such as improved vibration damping, tuned stiffness, and tuned bending resistance in order to enhance dynamic stability. |
