An object is to provide a floating type wind turbine generating apparatus which can be easily accessed by a ship and the like after having been moored on the ocean and the like. A floating type wind turbine generating apparatus 1 comprises: a floating body 20 including three columns 22 and at least two lower hulls 24 connecting two of the three columns 22; and a wind turbine generator 10 disposed on a top face of at least one of the three columns 22, wherein the floating body 20 is configured to be moored on a water surface in a state where a waterline is positioned above top faces of the lower hulls 24 by injecting a ballast water inside; and an entrance 44 is provided for a side face of at least one of the three columns 22, the entrance 44 being disposed above a connection between the lower hull 24 and the at least one column 22, and configured to provide access inside the at least one column 22. |
