<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle crane capable of eliminating an operation performed when a pump drive device is unnecessarily driven by easily starting up the pump drive device. <P>SOLUTION: This on-vehicle crane includes a hydraulic pump for discharging a hydraulic oil by driving an engine, a hydraulic actuator connected to the hydraulic pump, and a control valve for controlling the supply and discharge of the hydraulic oil to and from the hydraulic actuator. An operation lever is mechanically connected to the control valve so that the control valve can be changed over by operating the operation lever. The on-vehicle crane further includes a control means for electrically controlling the control valve so that the control valve can be changed over also by operating a remote control device communicable with the control means. The on-vehicle crane further includes a sensor for detecting an operation for changing over the control valve.
