PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve high-level flame retardancy of molding such as a very thin film with around 0.4 mm thickness, without including bromine- or chlorine-based compounds and phosphorus-based compounds.
SOLUTION: This electric insulation film is obtained by forming a flame-retardant polycarbonate resin composition including: 100 pts.wt. of a polycarbonate resin (A); 0.01-5.0 pts.wt. of a divalent metal sulfate (B); 0.1-1.0 pt.wt. of an organometallic compound (C); 0.01-1.5 pts.wt. of a fiber-formable fluorine-containing polymer (D); and 2.0-12.0 pts.wt. of an inorganic filler. The electric insulation film is ranked as V-0 grade with 0.4 mm thickness of a testpiece, in assessment of flame retardancy according to Underwriters Laboratories, Inc. UL94 test (inflammability test of plastic materials for components of equipment). The electric insulation film is excellent in flame retardancy, having no concern about generation of gas containing bromine or chlorine on burning because conventional flame retardant containing bromine- or chlorine-based compounds are not used; thereby extremely excellent from the aspect of environmental harmony.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
|
