<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire, in which a tire life is elongated by suppressing the occurrence of a strain on the end part in the tire width direction of the outermost belt layer located on the outermost side in the tire radial direction among belt layers embedded in a tread part. <P>SOLUTION: The pneumatic tire includes a belt, which is arranged on the crown part outer circumferential side of a carcass and is made of a belt layer of at least one layer, and is formed of a large number of lug grooves, each of which has one end opened at the tread end and is extended in the tire width direction on the wheel tread of the tread part. On the wheel tread of the tread part, circumferential direction grooves, each of which is intersected with the lug grooves and is continuously extended in the tire circumferential direction, or a plurality of circumferential direction grooves, each of which is extended in the tire circumferential direction and has one end opened to a lug groove and has the other end terminated in each of land parts divisionally formed between the lug grooves, and a distance along the tire width direction, from the opening width center of the circumferential direction grooves to a flat plane parallel to tire equatorial plane through the tire width direction end edge of the outermost belt layer, is 5% or less of the tire width direction size of the outermost belt layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
