The present invention provides a braking apparatus for a vehicle and a braking method thereof. The braking apparatus for a vehicle comprises: a detection unit detecting current correlation information between first current pedal pressure information outputted from a first pedal sensor and a second pedal sensor and second current pedal pressure information when a driver works a pedal; a determination unit outputting an abnormal signal in case the current correlation information detected in the detection unit gets out of predetermined reference correlation information, and in case the first current pedal pressure information and the second current pedal pressure information are not predetermined first and second pedal pressure information; and a control unit controlling a pedal simulator to generate target braking pressure corresponding to the reference correlation information in case of being supplied with the abnormal signal from the determination unit. |
