1. A method of treating infection caused by a kinetoplastidae parasite, comprising administering to a mammal in need thereof an effective amount of at least one compound according to formula (I) wherein

B and D each independently of each other represent an aryl group or a heteroaryl group optionally substituted by one to 5 substituents selected from the group consisting of:hydrogen atom,halogen atoms,hydroxy group,linear (C1-C4)alkyl groups or branched (C3-C4)alkyl groups,(C1-C4) alkoxy groups,(C1-C4) thioalkoxy groups,trifluoromethyl group,trifluoromethoxy group,pentafluorosulfanyl group,acetamide group,—OC(O)C6H5,formyl group,—COOH,—COOR with R representing a (C1-C4)alkyl group,—CH2OH,—CH2OR′ with R′representing a (C1-C4)alkyl group, —CH2OCH3 or a protecting group forming an acetal,—NH2,—NR2 with R representing a (C1-C4)alkyl group,—NO2,—CN, and and the pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof. |
