<p>A clip ejector apparatus for use with a laminating machine for laminating a web of material comprising a tape is disclosed. The tape comprises a clip, the clip ejector apparatus comprising a clip detector configured to detect the clip; and cutting means configured to cut-off a portion of the web of material comprising the clip. The detection of the clip triggers the cutting means for cutting off the portion of the web of material without affects the speed of the laminating machine. A method for removing a clip from a web of material in a laminating machine is also discoed. The method comprises the steps of detecting the clip in or on the web of material; and removing a portion of the web of material that contains the clip; wherein the clip is removed from the web of material without affecting the speed of the laminating machine.</p> |
