The present invention relates to a method for pretreating livestock excrement. According to the present invention, the method comprises: an excrement raw water feeding step of feeding raw water of livestock excrement; a solid and liquid separating step of separating solid and liquid from fed raw water; a chemical treating step of feeding and coagulating chemicals in the separated liquid; a filtering step of filtering the liquid including a coagulated material through a filter press including a filter cloth; and a public disposal plant transferring step of transferring the filtered liquid to a public disposal plant. In the chemical treating step, 20 to 70 kg of slaked lime, 1 to 20 kg of alum cake, and 0.1 to 0.5 kg of a coagulant may be added with respect to 1 ton of excrement raw water. In the filtering step, the filter cloth is produced by arranging at least one first filter cloth and at least one second filter cloth in layers. The first filter cloth may be woven by using mono yarns as warp and filament yarns as weft, and the second filter cloth may be woven by using mono yarns as warp and weft.
