1. A clip assembly configured to releasably secure a respiratory mask to a headgear assembly, the clip assembly comprising:
a connector receptor formed in the mask, the connector receptor including at least a first magnetic element; and a connector adapted to be coupled with the headgear assembly, the connector including at least a second magnetic element, wherein the connector is engageable with the connector receptor to secure the mask to the headgear assembly, and wherein the first and second magnetic elements are positioned and poled to facilitate engagement and position adjustment between the connector and the connector receptor.
