PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data conversion system for converting spreadsheet file data into a text file that can be read by another computer system.SOLUTION: A data conversion system includes an export-area-input reception/processing unit which receives designation of an area of a spreadsheet from which data is to be exported, and a conversion processing unit which converts data in the area of the spreadsheet designated as an export area into a text file. The conversion processing unit performs data conversion processing by assessing whether data in the area designated as the export area satisfy prescribed conditions or not to determine rows and/or columns to be excluded, and extracting rows and/or columns, other than the rows and/or columns that has been determined to be excluded, from the data in the area designated as the export area. |
