The present invention relates to a method for determining a model equation, a method for determining taste using the same, and an apparatus for determining taste capable of quantifying taste by measuring change in colors of a target sample by chemical dyes. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the apparatus for determining taste comprises: an image obtaining device; and a processing device formed to calculate information on an R value, a G value, and a B value from an image obtained from the image obtaining device. The processing device is capable of receiving an image from the image obtaining device after a target sample is mixed with a chemical dyes set consisting of two or more chemical dyes, calculating information on an R value, a G value, and a B value from an image after a target sample is mixed with the chemical dyes set, calculating a value with respect to specific taste based on a model equation with respect to the specific taste previously stored and information on an R value, a G value, and a B value which are calculated, and being operated to determine the extent of specific taste with respect to the target sample based on the value with respect to the specific taste. |
