A display device and an apparatus of processing the same are provided. The display device includes a backlight module and a display panel. The backlight module includes a light guide element and at least one roughness structure. The light guide element includes a light emitting surface, a light entering surface, and at least one lateral surface. The light emitting surface and the lateral surface are are adjacent to each other and share an edge. The light entering surface is adjacent to the light emitting surface or the lateral surface. The roughness structure is formed on the lateral surface, and has a surface roughness of 0.01-10 μm. The display panel is arranged to correspond to the light emitting surface. |
