PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blast furnace operation method managing strength of ferro coke appropriately, keeping a ventilation resistance index low, and satisfying tap quantity.SOLUTION: In an operation of a blast furnace, iron ore and coke that ferro coke is mixed are charged in the blast furnace. A shatter strength of the ferro coke is kept in a range of 98.0-99.1 prescribed in JIS M8711. A drum index of the ferro coke is kept in a range of 65.0-80.0 prescribed in JIS K2151. |
