PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that in some operating systems (OSs), a printer driver only having a standard function, prepared by an OS is only used, and even when a multifunctional printer is used, many functions unique to the printer cannot be used.SOLUTION: A host PC 100 includes: a print function setting display section 121 for setting a print function of a printer 200 on the basis of print function information held by a unique print function information database 122; and transmission sections (115 and 116) for transmitting unique information associating a print function with a user name, and standard print data associating print data with a user name. A printer 200 includes: reception sections (121 and 112) for inputting the unique information and the standard print data; and a preset information acquisition section 202 for comparing the user names respectively corresponding to the unique information and the standard print data, and performing print setting of the print data on the basis of the command information of the unique information and the command information of the standard print data when the names coincide with each other. |
