The present invention relates to a cover for a nonferrous metal smelting furnace and, more specifically, to a cover for a nonferrous metal smelting furnace capable of maximally preventing the temperature of molten metal by opening and closing by simple operation and strongly sealing a cover for a smelting furnace in order not to maximally drop the temperature of molten metal inside a crucible by covering the upper end of a body of a smelting furnace. The present invention has effects of simply lifting a cover body by a working body; conveniently opening and closing a cover at a distance away from the upper end of a body by simply rotating by using a supporting hinge of a supporting device; minimizing heat loss by quickly opening and closing with simple operation; forming an opening in one side of a cover body thereby inserting a thermometer through the same; and thereby checking molten metal. |
