PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a press brake which can accurately fold a plate to a target angle.SOLUTION: A friction coefficient calculation part 214 calculates the friction coefficient μ of friction generated between a shoulder of a die mold and a plate when folding a plate by moving a slide table in the state that the plate is clamped by a punch die and the die mold. A slide control part 201 uses a parameter Prm1 including the friction coefficient μ1 based on the friction coefficient μ calculated by the friction coefficient calculation part 214 to calculate a travel of the slide table necessary to fold the plate to a final bend angle. The slide control part 201 controls the slide table so as to be moved by a calculated travel. |
