PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plane equipped with a mechanism for adjusting an amount of blade protrusion in which the amount of blade protrusion can be easily adjusted with one hand and adjusting does not require removal of any specific component, in processing such as chamfering of various building material boards used in interior finish work of a building.SOLUTION: A plane includes: a plane stock 1 having a blade port 12 whose part on the bottom surface side is opened and a long hole 13 provided in the longitudinal direction of an upper surface 1b; a blade body 3 fixedly provided on the upper surface 1b of the plane stock 1 in a protruding manner from the blade port 12; a sliding part 5 having a protrusion part that slides along the long hole 13 and having the blade body 3 mounted thereon; and an adjustment part 6 which is engaged with the sliding part 5 and movably provided on the upper surface of the plane stock 1. An amount of protrusion of the blade body 3 from the blade port 12 is adjusted by moving the adjustment part 6. |
