According to an embodiment of the present invention, a method for providing a fee compensation service comprises the following steps of: receiving information on a financial transaction from a terminal for processing the financial transaction; inquiring a fee for the financial transaction to be processed according to the information on the financial transaction; inquiring information on compensation for a transaction time when the information on a financial transaction is received and then determining an amount of compensation for the fee to be paid to calculate an actual fee which actually should be paid; and paying the actual fee out of the fee-dedicated account when a balance in the fee-dedicated account is greater than or equal to the actual fee, or notifying the terminal of shortage in the balance when the balance in the fee-dedicated account is less than the actual fee so as to compensate for the fee. |
