PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light weight less-expensive conductive shaft of high strength, high rigidity and superior conductivity, conductive roll for OA equipment using the conductive shaft and a process of manufacture of the conductive shaft.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a shaft made of fiber-reinforced resin having continuous glass fiber bundles 2 buried in parallel in a longitudinal direction of a shaft 1. Its matrix resin 4 has major ingredient of the following (A) and is made of resin composition containing the following ingredients (B) and (C), and the aforesaid ingredient (B) is distributed under a state in which it is arranged along the continuous glass fibers 2a constituting the continuous glass fiber bundle 2. (A): thermosetting resin. (B): carbon milled fiber. (C): hardening agent for ingredient (A).
