PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a decontamination method for a concrete body, by which the surface layer part of the concrete body contaminated with a radioactive substance can be easily decontaminated and the radioactive substance contained in drainage can be reliably removed.SOLUTION: The decontamination method comprises: a fluid supply step S1 for supplying an acid solution to the surface of the concrete body contaminated with a radioactive substance; a cement dissolution step S2 for dissolving, with the acid solution, a contaminated cement component of the surface of the concrete body; a contamination removal step S3 for removing the dissolved cement component from the surface of the concrete body; a surface neutralization step S4 for neutralizing, with a neutralizer, the surface of the concrete body from which the dissolved cement component has been removed; a surface cleaning step S5 for eliminating, with pure water, fine contaminants and the like from the surface of the neutralized concrete body; an immersion step S6 for immersing the concrete body in a sodium bicarbonate aqueous solution; and a drainage treatment step S7 for coagulation settling the radio active substance contained in the drainage for solid-liquid separation. |
