PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light guide member and a manufacturing method of the light guide member capable of improving diffusibility in a plurality of diffusion grooves.SOLUTION: A light guide member 1 includes: a first end surface 11 in which light from a light source 20 enters; and a second end surface 12 which is arranged in a position on the opposite side from the first end surface 11. The light guide member 1 includes a reflection surface 13 which is provided along a direction in which the first end surface 11 and the second end surface 12 face with each other, and in which light entered from the first end surface 11 is reflected. The reflection surface 13 has: a plurality of diffusion grooves 13a for diffusing light; and a flat surface 13b provided in a portion other than the diffusion grooves 13a. The reflection surface 13 includes at least one shape change region 14 in which cross-sectional shapes of diffusion grooves 13a differ respectively.
